教学器材的选择没有绝对的好与坏之分。选择教学器材的时候应该基于对教材和学生的分析之上，考虑怎样能优化课程，从而选择适合的教学器材。两者都有其优点，现代教学器材能够创设不同的情景，吸引学生的注意，能够更直观方便的阐述新知，而传统教学器材则可根据学生要求灵活的呈现知识，这就要求老师能够了解每种教学器材的优缺点，结合自己的课堂需求，选用适当的教学器材。总而言之，我们需要在课堂上寻求两者的平衡。

There is no absolute good or bad of teaching equipment. The choice of teaching equipment should be based on the analysis of teaching materials and students, and should think how to optimize the curriculum. Both has its advantages, the modern one can create different scenarios, attract students’ attention , and explain the knowledge more directly and conveniently. While the traditional one can be flexible in presenting knowledge according to request of students. All these require the teacher to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each teaching equipment, and choose the appropriate teaching equipment combining with their own classroom needs. All in all, we need to find a balance between the two in class.

我的导入设计了简单的日常对话，这样可以把学生的注意力从课程之外或者是从上一堂课的状态中调整进入本课内容。利用多媒体设备给学生展示图片，抓住了他们偏向于观察直观的、形象的事物的特点。图片展现不同国家的建筑风格、美食等，并询问他们最喜欢哪个国家，让他们做出简单的介绍。这样可以为他们接下来的写作提供素材，同样也可以锻炼他们在全班同学面前表达自己的观点。

My Lead-in includes a simple daily conversation that allows students to focus their attention on my class. I use multimedia devices to show pictures to students, which captures their characteristics that they tend to observe directly and visually. The pictures show different countries' architectural styles, food, etc., At the meanwhile, I will ask them which country they like best, so that they can make a brief introduction by themselves.
